Description |
The Lonhuda Pottery Company (1892-1894) was founded in 1892 by William A. Long (1844-1918) in Steubenville, Ohio. In 1893, the company displayed its works at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Lonhuda Pottery Company's ware was so impressive, that Samuel A. Weller of Weller Pottery Company purchased shares in Lonhuda Pottery Company and called the new enterprise Lonhuda Fai 1894, Lonhuda and Weller who began producing their own line called Lonhuda. |
