Description |
An unusual example from J.B. Owens Pottery Company's Matte Lotus line introduced in 1906, this vase, shape number 224, features a white, hand-decorated floral motif executed in a pâte-sur-pâte technique on a matte blue background. This piece was donated to the museum by Mrs. Lucile Barnett, the daughter of George S. Brush, the owner of Brush Pottery Company located in Zanesville, Ohio. |
