Description |
The Crooksville China Company (1902-1959), which was established in Crooksville, Ohio in 1902, produced dinnerware and kitchenware that resembled porcelain, but was actually a white earthenware. The company remained in operation until 1959, when competition from Japanese imports and plastic dinnerware manufacturers forced Crooksville China Company to close. |
