Description |
An example of Weller Pottery Company's early Louwelsa line introduced in 1896, this brown vase features a display of pinecones. The donor of this vase, Ms. Penny Duffee inherited it from her great-grandfather Pearley T. Hooper (1895-1958) who worked at American Encaustic and Mosaic Tile Companies. The donor's mother Dora (Gilley) Hooper (1893-1969) was an artist at Weller Pottery Company. |
