Description |
This American art pottery vase is a unique example from Weller Pottery Company's Hudson Ware line. It was created in 1929 and bears an incised "X" and the word "Trial," and the artist or decorator cipher "SRM". Signed and decorated by Sarah Reid McLaughlin (1885-1939) in 1929, this vase is definitive proof that Weller Pottery did produce and mark their wares as experimentals and trials. |
