Description |
The Shawnee Pottery Company (1937-1961) purchased the American Encaustic Tiling Company in 1937 and began producing a wide range of vases, figurines, dinnerware, and cookie jars in the facility in Zanesville, Ohio. Many items were made for "five and dime" stores like the F.W. Woolworth Company. They also produced a line of dinnerware exclusively for Sears, Roebuck and Co. |
