Description |
An example from Roseville Pottery Company's Donatello line first introduced in 1916, this Greek-Revival style bowl, shape number #237, features a decorative frieze that wraps around the bowl. The front of the bowl depicts two cherubim hugging among the grasses, while the back of the bowl features a floating cherub and seated cherub. The shape design was created by Frank Ferrell (1878-1961) and the motifs were created by Harry W. Rhead (1881-1950) and Frank Ferrell (1878-1961). |
