Tiffin had produced glassware for over a century. Originally called A. J. Beatty and Sons of Tiffin, Ohio, this company merged with United States Glass Company in 1892 and became Factory R. Pressed glass was the original production line, but by 1900, blown glass was becoming increasingly popular, and Tiffin became a large producer of quality blown stemware. |
