Description |
An example from Roseville Pottery Company's late Raymor Modern Stoneware line introduced in 1952, this water pitcher in Spring Grey, shape number 189, was made for informal contemporary serving. The museum purchased this piece from the George H. Krause Collection in 2008. George Krause was a glaze chemist and ceramics engineer who worked at Roseville Pottery beginning in 1915 and played a major role at the company thought the first half of the twentieth century. |
