Description |
The men depicted here, Jacques Sicard and Henri Gelle, worked for Weller Pottery from 1901 to 1907. They are famous fro producing the Sicrado pottery line, recognizable by its shifting iridescene of lustrous green, gold, and purple. Examples of Sicardo ware are displayed in the Art of Ohio Gallery in the American Art Pottery Gallery. |
