Description |
This two-handled earthenware vase was hand thrown by Stoin M. Stoin (c.1899-1948) for Weller Pottery Company circa 1930. A variant of Weller's Juneau line, this vase is covered in a soft-blue, high-gloss glaze and features leaf-like fluid drips of red and green glaze. This piece was given to the museum by Mrs. Harry Weller in 1958, a family member of Samuel A. Weller, the founder of Weller Pottery Company. |
