Description |
An early line dating from 1906-1907 from Roseville Pottery Company called Della Robbia, this line was designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead (1880-1942) and features hand-carved motifs. This pitcher, shape number 40-7 1/2", depicts a Roman Charioteer and was executed by Roseville artist Gussie Gerwich. Her cipher, the initial G, can be found at the base of handle. |
