Description |
After an already extensive career in the ceramic arts, Lawton Gondor (1900-?) established Gonder Ceramic Arts (1941-1957) in the former Zane Pottery Company facilities in South Zanesville, Ohio. The company produced a wide range of intricate shapes with innovative glazes. This candleholder, shape number 517, features a seashell shape and a light blue glaze, called Mother of Pearl by Gonder. |
