Description |
The Hall China Company (1903-present) was founded on August 14, 1903, by Robert Hall in East Liverpool, Ohio. Hall China is one of two potteries under the HLC Inc. brand, the other being Homer Laughlin China. Hall China continues to succeed as one of the largest manufacturers of specialty dinnerware. While known for conventional kitchen and tableware, lines by Hungarian-born industrial designer Eva Zeisel (1906-2011) were the exception with sleek, modern shapes that often were an abstraction of the natural world. |
