Unusual Red Ware or Souevo Vase Featuring a Black Greek Key Pattern |

This piece has a die-impressed manufacturer's mark on the underside that reads WELLER / FULTONHAM O. |
Description |
This example is attributed to Weller Pottery Company's Red Ware or Souevo line introduced circa 1907 and features stylized black Greek key decoration. Interestingly, few piece's bear the manufacturer's mark "WELLER / FULTONHAM O." as this piece does. Was this made at the Weller Fultonham factory? Or is it more contemporary? |
