Description |
This is a 1974 recreation of shape number 57 produced by the A. Radford Pottery Company (1891-1912). The A. Radford Pottery Company produced wares in Broadway, Virginia; Tiffin and Zanesville, Ohio; and Clarksburg, West Virginia by Albert Radford (1862-1904). This piece is a recreation of the Jasper Ware line, inspired by the famous Wedgwood Jasperware produced in England, and features light-colored cameo figures on a smooth area surrounded by a textured background. Recreations were made by Frederick W. Radford (1919-2003), son of Albert E. Radford (1887-1977). |
