Description |
An example from Roseville Pottery Company's Donatello line first introduced in 1916, this Greek-Revival style plate, also called low bowl by Roseville, shape number 61-8", features three seated cherubim playing instruments surrounding two standing cherubim singing from a book in the center. The shape design and motif were created by Harry W. Rhead (1881-1950). |
