Description |
An example from Weller Pottery Company's Glazed and Decorated line introduced in 1895, this vibrant green late-Victorian style jardinière, shape number 96, features a highly decorative surface with cast horse heads, decorative tendrils, and a scalloped edge. Published in a Weller Pottery Company sales catalog, the majestic jardinière and pedestal sold for $29, which made this an expensive item in the late nineteenth century. |
