Description |
Le Pere Pottery Company (1936-1961) was located at 1470 Greenwood Avenue in Zanesville, Ohio and founded by Otto Herold, Paul Herold, and Albert Lepper in 1936. Le Pere is best known for delicate, hand-decorated cast wares trimmed with gold and copper luster. Many of the shapes were designed by Harry P. Moyer (Active at Le Pere 1945-1957) and the glazes were designed by Albert Lepper (1902-1969). This small pitcher reflects the influence of Staffordshire Lustreware crafted in England. |
