Howard Kottler (1930-1989) is a ceramicist who was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied art at Ohio State University and with Maija Grotell at the Cranbrook Academy of Art. His work is known for its satirical nature, often making light fun of popular culture. Kottler later taught at the University of Washington. |
