Description |
This vase is an example of Roseville Pottery Company's Pauleo line introduced circa 1914. Decorated in a wonderful dark green crackle glaze that was made to replicate the spirit of Chinese glazes, this vase, shape number 814-9.25", was placed on permanent loan to the ZMA by Mrs. Robert P. Windisch (née, Georgianna Clement). She was not only the daughter of Fenwick Clement, the former President of Roseville Pottery Company, Mrs. Windisch was the wife of another Roseville Pottery Company President, Mr. Robert P Windisch. |
