Description |
An example from Roseville Pottery Company's middle-period Cherry Blossom line introduced in 1933, this vase has a matte green and pink trial glaze, shape number 622-7", and features low-relief pink cherry blossoms with pink vines and green leaves over a trellis-like pattern. This piece is much lighter than its counterparts due to being made from a white clay body and bears the cipher of glaze chemist George H. Krause (1888-1975) on the uderside of the vessel. |
