An accomplished painter who traveled throughout the United States and Europe, Herbert B. Tschudy was also the Curator of Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York. The ZMA has a large collection of work by this Ohio-native, donated by the Columbus, Ohio artist, educator, and collector Dr. Alan Peery Cottrell and his parents Dr. and Mrs. Donald P. Cottrell, the executor of Tschudy's estate. |
