An example of Weller Pottery Company's early Aurelian line introduced in 1898, this pitcher hand decorated by Minnie Helmick Mitchell (1876-1902), features graceful berries and leaves on a hand-brushed dark brown background with a golden sunburst of light around the decoration. |
