Description |
An example from Weller Pottery Company's Dickens Ware II line introduced in 1900, this matte vase features a representation of Rembrandt's famous painting "Self-Portrait Wearing a White Feathered Bonnet." This line features numerous examples of representations of well-known works of art likely designed Charles Babcock Upjohn (1866-1953). Dickens Ware II also features a variety of characters, many of whom are drawn from stories by Charles Dickens (1812-1870). |
