Description |
An example from Weller Pottery Company's Dickensware III line introduced circa 1904, this high-gloss stein features a hand-painted, molded bas relief image of a colonial gentleman. The line was designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead (1880-1942) as a less expensive successor to Dickensware II and features a variety of characters, many of whom are drawn from stories by Charles Dickens (1812-1870). |
