Paul Bogatay (1905-1972) is a ceramicist who was active around Columbus, Ohio. Bogatay studied at the Cleveland School of Art and later taught at Ohio State University and in Japan at Kyoto University. Bogatay's work reflects the Asian influence while also portraying the beauty of the medium. |
