An example from the J.B. Owens Pottery Company's Majolica Finish line introduced in 1895, this paperweight was a promotional item created for the Edmiston Horney Company, a book and stationary business in Zanesville, Ohio. It features a deer head with the words "EDMISTON HORNEY CO., ZANESVILLE OHIO" underneath in a dark blue majolica-like high gloss finish typical of the line. |
