Don Reitz (1929-2014) is a ceramicist who was born in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and spent most of his ceramic career in Clarksdale, Arizona. Reitz studied art at Alfred University and later taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is known for his strides in the field of salt-glazing, a technique seldom-used during the mid-1900s.
