Description |
This vase is an unusual example from Weller Pottery Company's Matt Louwelsa line. Created in 1905, this piece features rust-colored acorns and oak leaves hand-painted over a solid ivory background. The dry, granular surface texture of this vase is characteristic of Matt Louwelsa, the color palette and stylized decoration are not. |
