Alice A. Ayars (1895-1946) is a ceramicist who was very influential in the ceramic art scene in and around Cleveland, Ohio. As a teacher in the Cleveland Public School System, Ayars influenced many students in the field of ceramics. Ayars studied ceramics at Alfred University, and her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. |
