The Sterling Vitrified China Company (1917-?) was founded in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1917. It was a producer of china and made china for the U.S. Military during Word War II. This plate commemorates the International Brotherhood of Operative Potters, a union formed in the late 1800s by pottery workers around East Liverpool. |
